UNIQUE WEDDING STONES

 At Comlongon Castle we are constantly striving to improve our services and products and to offer clients the very best we can source at an affordable level.

 We now offer couples the opportunity to purchase a truly unique product, our Wedding Stone. These are individually commissioned Scottish slate slabs measuring 12" X 12" X 1" engraved with both the Bride and Groom`s names and the date of their wedding, which are laid into the path from the hotel to the sandstone gazebo, in the centre of our landscaped gardens. These form a major part of our new landscaping project and will be the centrepiece of a project designed to last for many generations to come. Over the coming years couples from around the world will have the chance to add their individual stone to this path below the medieval walls of the Keep. 

 These are only available to couples who marry at the castle.

 Over the years we have found clients who wish to return to the Castle find difficulty in booking their anniversary because, especially on popular dates, another group have booked this date. Some couples have tried for over a decade to return on the date of their anniversary. Wedding Stones can be ordered for a return visit on any date, either prelaid for your arrival or placed in the path with a specially written evening ceremony accompanied by a piper. A ceremony has been uniquelly written allowing couples to return where their children can carry and assist in laying these stones.

 Wedding Stones can be ordered to be laid on the date of your wedding, either as part of your ceremony or possibly as a collective gift from guests, or simply for a special anniversary present.
